Shia will always come to you and ask you mockingly: “My Imam is the Mahdi who is your Imam? do you want to die the death of Ignorance?”. Then shia will often use the narration from the ahlu-sunnah books to support their case and to attack ahlu-sunnah and proof their 12-imams in ahlu-sunnah books.

They often quote the Hadith:
“He who dies without an Imam dies the death of the days of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah).”

And this narration is true, we find it in the Sahih Books in its authentic form:
“It has been reported on the authority of Nafi’i the Mawla of Ibn ‘Umar: The Prophet SAWS said: One who withdraws his band from obedience (to the Amir) will find no argument (in his defence) when he stands before Allah on the Day of Judgment, and one who dies without having bound himself by an oath of allegiance (to an Amir) will die the death of one belonging to the days of jahillyya.“ (Shahih Muslim)
“It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: One who defected from obedience (to the Amir) and separated from the main body of the Muslims-if he died in that state-would die the death of one belonging to the days of jahiliyya…” (Shahih Muslim)
Another Sahih Hadith narrated by Al-Bukhari:
“It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas that the messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: One who found in his Amir something which he disliked should hold his patience, for one who separated from the main body of the Muslims even to the extent of a handspan and then he died would die the death of one belonging to the days of jahiliyya.
The answer is given by the prophet SAWS as one of the companions asks him about the days of the future:
Narrated Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman: The people used to ask Allah’s Apostle about the good but I used to ask him about the evil lest I should be overtaken by them. So I said, “O Allah’s Apostle! We were living in ignorance and in an (extremely) worst atmosphere, then Allah brought to us this good (i.e., Islam); will there be any evil after this good?” He said, “Yes.” I said, ‘Will there be any good after that evil?” He replied, “Yes, but it will be tainted (not pure.)” I asked, “What will be its taint?” He replied, “(There will be) some people who will guide others not according to my tradition? You will approve of some of their deeds and disapprove of some others.” I asked, “Will there be any evil after that good?” He replied, “Yes, (there will be) some people calling at the gates of the (Hell) Fire, and whoever will respond to their call, will be thrown by them into the (Hell) Fire.” I said, “O Allah s Apostle! Will you describe them to us?” He said, “They will be from our own people and will speak our language.” I said, “What do you order me to do if such a state should take place in my life?” He said, “Stick to the group of Muslims (Jama’ah) and their imam (ruler).” I said, “If there is neither a group of Muslims nor an imam (ruler)?” He said, “Then turn away from all those sects even if you were to bite (eat) the roots of a tree till death overtakes you while you are in that state.” (Shahih Bukhari)
Comment: So we understand from this that there might come times when Rulers will be absent, in our days it is best to boycott the governments of Kufr and abandon all the deviant sects that mislead the Muslims, the first sect being the Twelver Shia.
Was this ruler whom we should obey hand picked by the prophet SAWS as the Shia claim? the answer is once again given by our Prophet SAWS in another Sahih Hadith:
Abu Hazim said: Abu Huraira said: The Prophet said, “The Israelis used to be ruled and guided by prophets: Whenever a prophet died, another would take over his place. There will be no prophet after me, but there will be Caliphs who will increase in number.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! What do you order us (to do)?” He said: “Obey the one who will be given the pledge of allegiance first. Fulfil their (i.e. the Caliphs) rights, for Allah will ask them about (any shortcoming) in ruling those Allah has put under their guardianship.” (Hadits Bukhari and Muslim)
Comment: Is the Imam of the Muslims infallible and perfect as the Shia claim? he certainly is not,
the Prophet SAWS says:
Narrated Abu Huraira: That heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “We are the last but will be the foremost to enter Paradise).” The Prophet added, “He who obeys me, obeys Allah, and he who disobeys me, disobeys Allah. He who obeys the chief, obeys me, and he who disobeys the chief, disobeys me. The imam is like a shelter for whose safety the Muslims should fight and where they should seek protection. If the imam orders people with righteousness and rules justly, then he will be rewarded for that, and if he does the opposite, he will be responsible for that.”(Hadits Bukhari)
Comment: So how did our ancestors understand the word Imam? did they think they were “12 infallible Men from Ahlul-Bayt” as the Shia do?
Narrated Qais bin Abi Hazim: Abu Bakr went to a lady from the Ahmas tribe called Zainab bint Al-Muhajir and found that she refused to speak. He asked, “Why does she not speak.” The people said, “She has intended to perform Hajj without speaking.” He said to her, “Speak, for it is illegal not to speak, as it is an action of the pre-islamic period of ignorance. So she spoke and said, “Who are you?” He said, “A man from the Emigrants.” She asked, “Which Emigrants?” He replied, “From Quraish.” She asked, “From what branch of Quraish are you?” He said, “You ask too many questions; I am Abu Bakr.” She said, “How long shall we enjoy this good order (i.e. Islamic religion) which Allah has brought after the period of ignorance?” He said, “You will enjoy it as long as your imams keep on abiding by its rules and regulations.” She asked, “What are the imams?” He said, “Were there not heads and chiefs of your nation who used to order the people and they used to obey them?” She said, “Yes.” He said, “So they (i.e. the imams) are those whom I meant.” (Hadits Bukhari)
Now, if we are to look at their own narrations, we may even found this, don't be surprised to what have been narrated from their own books:
Abu Abdilllah (as) said: One who dies without (recognizing) the present and Zahir (visible and can be seen) Imam, dies the death of ignorance.
- al-Mufid in Al-ekhtisas p269 Beirut
– Bihar al-Anwar v23 p93 Beirut
Abu Abdillah (as) said: One who dies without having the present and Zahir (visible and can be seen) Imam dies the death of ignorance. The narrator asked: May I be sacrificed for you, the living Imam? He replied: the living Imam, the living Imam.
- al-Mufid in al-ekhtisas p269
– Bihar al-Anwar v23 p93
– Mustadrak Wasail
Abi al-Hassan (as) said: One who dies without (recognizing) the present and known Imam, dies the death of ignorance.
The narrator said: I never heard this from your father, I mean the present Imam? He replied: By Allah the Messenger of Allah said this, and said: One who dies without an Imam, who can be heard and obeyed, dies the death of ignorance.
- Mufid in al-ekhtisas p268-289
– Bihar al-Anwar v23 p92

They are claiming that their current Imam is Imam Mahdi, but strangely, they do have their own narrations which seem to be more "strict" from ahlu-sunnah's and if we are to apply to their current interpretation of sunni hadits (which they fail to know how ahlu-sunnah intepret the hadits), they are also somehow in the same boat as ahlu-sunnah (which is die the death of the days of Ignorance), as they fail to have "the present and Zahir (visible and can be seen)" Imam. What we have known that their Imam Mahdi is currently hidden in someplace. Indeed, with that, actually they are digging their own hole it seems...

Our Objectives

Shia.sg was initiated by a group of concerned Muslims who were active in a Facebook group called "Kampung Melayu" which was mainly a platform for Singapore Muslims.

Unfortunately, the Facebook group admitted members from the local Shi'ite community, including their leader, Rosli Hassan.
